During an interstellar journey, a space freighter is damaged by a storm of asteroids, being forced to make an emergency landing where part of the passage dies. A very dangerous killer, Riddick, who was part of the cargo, flees leaving the survivors with two worries, he and dangerous night creatures that come to the surface when the three suns of the planet are darkened by an eclipse.
