Jiro Horikoshi, who dreams of flying and designing beautiful airplanes, is inspired by the famous Italian aeronautical designer Caproni. Myopia since childhood and therefore unable to fly, he joined the aeronautical division of an engineering company in 1927. His genius was soon recognized and he became one of the most prestigious aeronautical designers. Biographical film that recreates historical events that marked his life, such as the 1923 Kanto earthquake, the Great Depression, the tuberculosis epidemic, and Japan's entry into World War II.
