Jack Malik is a struggling singer-songwriter whose career stalls in his small English hometown—until a strange global blackout and a subsequent accident leave him as apparently the only person who remembers the Beatles. Seizing the chance, he performs their songs as his own and quickly becomes an international star. Fame brings wealth and recognition but also strains his relationship with his friend and manager Ellie and forces him to face the moral cost of building success on stolen music. Ultimately Jack must choose between continued fame and honesty, and decide what he truly values.
