The Mask of Zorro

Mexico, 1821. A masked and romantic popular hero, known as El Zorro, bravely fight against Spanish colonial domain in Alta California. However, the eve of the liberation of Mexico, the despotic governor Don Rafael Montero discovers that the fox is Don Diego de la Vega. An attack against the rebel house, is paid with his capture, the death of his wife, the kidnapping of his only daughter Elena and the destruction of his properties. Twenty years later, Montero returns from exile with Elena, who ignores the identity of her father, and intends to buy California from the president of Mexico, General Santa Anna. When Don Diego de la Vega finds out, he escapes from the prison willing to take revenge on Montero. Part of the plan consists of training and transforming Alejandro Murrieta, a bandit with a tortuous past, in the new fox, to help him frustrate Montero's plans once and for all. Murrieta will go through a rich Spanish landowner willing to gain the confidence of Montero.
